I used chipboard buttons, rub-ons and papers from Prima Marketing Dude collection to create this layout of my son doing what he loves to do - Skateboarding!

Clustering the embellishments and using 3d foam pads gives the page a sense of dimension with out drawing focus away from the photograph.

The chipboard alphas were coloured using a permanent black marker pen before being coated with a clear dimensional glaze.

I love to recycle everyday throw away items when Scrapping. Having been totally inspired by one of my Norwegian Scrap Pals I decided to have a go at making a mini book from toilet rolls!

  • Each of the rolls are flattened to form a pocket which can be used to create a home for tags which can be decorated with additional photographs, other memorabilia or journaling..

  • Using the wonderfully bright and quirky papers and embellishments from Prima Marketing Dude collection I whizzed together this mini book which records a recent visit from my new nephew.

  • The decorated "rolls" are then bound together using a Bind it All.

Card and Wallet.

The bright colours and strong design from Prima Marketing's Dude collection work so well together and are perfect for creating greeting cards for the men in your life.

By hand cutting the circular designs I was able to create quick embellishments to decorate this card and wallet, which were adhered using 3d foam tape to add dimension.

Using off cut scraps of denim material I created strips to wrap around the card before securing with a decorative knot.

Prima Paintables. Tracie used several designs to cut and layer.

The designs from Prima Paintables lend themselves to being hand cut and layered to create pages which are packed with plenty of dimension.

To add to the eclectic theme of this page I adhered a Prima butterfly rub-on to a sheet of acetate, then hand cut before securing to the page using a clear adhesive.

Combining the intricate hand cut detail with Essential 4 blooms and "Say it in Studs" swirls from Prima Marketing I was able to create this page which records my youngest Sisters wedding day.

Prima Paintable: Sheet 811266

Prima Paintables are perfect to use when you want to dig out your watercolours and indulge in a little artistic session.

TOP TIP: To prevent the patterned paper from warping, when wet, I remembered a top tip from my school days - spray the paper with a fine mist of water before adhering the sheet to a flat surface using masking tape. You can paint away, safe in the knowledge that your paper wont warp and buckle when dry.

I guess we all have bottles of Primas sitting pretty in our stash cupboard - well I thought I better start using them up and this layout was just perfect for that!

Layering the blooms and using a variety of buttons as centres gave the finishing touch to these rather pretty blooms from Prima Marketing.

I find scrapping 6x12 pages rather challenging as the limitation of space can become quite an issue....especially if like me you like to cram the pages with lots of detail!

Using my sewing machine I randomly stitched a series of circles which were then embellished using buttons from Basic Grey.

I like my pages to have a tactile feel to them and am a great fan of dimension. Both of these design elements were incorporated into my design by hand cutting floral details from the Urban Cosmos papers, which were then adhered to the page using 3d foam tape.

For even more detail I positioned a hand cut flower on top of some ribbon and then stitched both to secure them to my page.

Chipboard numerals from Prima Marketing were used to create the title of this page which celebrates the 16 years of friendship I have shared with one of my closest pals.

With my 40th year of life fast approaching I wanted to create a page marking the here and now!

Layering patterned papers is a great way to add a sense of dimension to your layout pages - not only that, but its a wonderful way to use up your stash scraps!

By using a 6x12 piece of Urban Cosmos patterned paper I layered the papers in a staggered fashion to fall beyond the edges of the base.

Texture was achieved by randomly tearing the edges of some of the papers to reveal the white core.

A variety of floral designs were hand cut from the patterned papers and tucked behind the three photographs.

Using a craft knife I sliced a chipboard journaling spot in half before positioning it under the patterned papers.

Ribbons were added to the page, along with chipboard accents to create a sense of depth to this layout.

Prima Rub-ons were used to create a decorative border with Prima Marketing chipboard numerals used to form the tile.

Instructions

By hand cutting the patterned detail from these beautiful Urban Cosmos papers I was able to create a variety of accents to embellish this letter sized page.

Overlapping the accents on to the photograph created a cluster of interest without detracting the main focus away from the photograph.

Using rub-ons from Prima Marketing enabled me to create a quick, yet effective, title by combining the rub-ons with the coordinating chipboard.

Decorative ribbon was placed beneath the chipboard to add a delicate touch to this feminine page.
