I loved working with this kit, it lends itself to both Christmas and Winter projects and as such is hugely versatile.

Before you do anything else cut of all the bottom strips on all the patterned papers. All Kaisercraft papers have strips of words etc at the very bottom of the paper.

Most Wonderful Time of the Year Layout

by Karen Mortensen

This is a 12" x 12" layout.  Papers used from the kit are: "Fresh Pine" - "Logs" - "Forest" - "Woolen" -"Coconut" and "Kraft" plain cardstock

The first thing I did was fussy-cut lots of pine branches from the "Fresh Pine" sheet. I ended up only using the top part for this layout, but will be using the rest in other projects.

I am using "Forest" as my base. So glue the cut-out pine branch to the very top of the paper. Only stick down the top and sides so you can insert the logs below it later.

Cut out four circles from the "Logs" paper. My circles measure: 9.5cm - 7cm - 6cm - 4.7cm in diameters.

TIP: At this stage it's a good idea to insert the circles without gluing them down and see where you like them. Once you have a good place take a picture so you will remember where to put them.

Roll edges in gold glitter and leave until completely dry.

Insert the log circles below your pine branches.

Mat your pictures on cardstock. I matted on red (if you don't have any just use your coconut cardstock and colour edges red), then layer on the Kraft cardstock. My pictures were size 12cm x 8cm and 8.5cm x 6.5cm.

Attach pictures to layout on foam tape to raise it off the page. If you haven't already, cut off the 12" bottom strip from the "Logs" paper and stick in on top of the larger picture at the bottom, leaving it partly unstuck as on the pictures below.

Take two of the buttons in your kit and attach it either end of the strip. I used a little gold thread.

Add the Kaisercraft chipboard "Merry Christmas" from your kit. I also added some Glossy Accents to my baubles on the picture.

Cut out two word strips from the "Woolen" sentiment sheet and adhere to the side of the picture as shown.

Your layout is now complete.

Tis The Season Layout

by Karen Mortensen

This is a 12" x 12" layout.  Papers used from the kit are: "Frosted" - "Flanelette" - "Woolen" . Plain cardstock: "Sage", "Coconut" and "Kraft".

First of all we want to prepare the papers. So take the sheet of "Sage" plain cardstock and off the bottom strip (with the Kaisercraft writing on the back). Keep the strip.

Take the "Frosted" paper and cut it in half

Take the "Flanelette" paper and cut it in half. We will need the bottom piece there.

The "Sage" cardstock will be the base.

Trim a little of the edges of the two patterned papers so that some of the Sage cardstock shows all around the edge. Stick the two papers down and the extra strip of Sage you cut off earlier where they join:

Add the bottom strips from "Fresh Pine" and "Woolen"

Add some of the fibres from your kit.

Take the die-cut clock from your kit and add it to the top. I coloured the leaves green and used red glitter glue for the berries.

.

Fussy-cut some of the flowers from the other half of the "Frosted" paper.

My daughters picture measures 10cm x 9.7 - Snow heart picture: 4.3cm x 5.5cm and the snowy forest picture 5.5 (showing) x 7.5cm.

Mat your pictures on white coconut and Kraft cardstock. Arrange them as you want them, then stick on foam tape on the back of the group.  Now take the Frosted flowers and arrange them how you want them on the back of the picture group BEFORE sticking them all down.

Add white die-cut branches from the kit. I also used a branch of pine I fussy-cut from the paper "Pine Branch". Add roses, pearls and other embellishments from your kit:
