High Tea Wedding Projects

Louise Brigden used the High Tea collection by Kaisercraft to create a beautiful memory album from her wedding, along with two frames and card.

The High Tea collection by Kaisercraft is just so pretty! As it’s name suggests there is a theme which lends itself perfectly to any craft make related to tea parties and sweet teats but that is not all! The collectibles cardstock die cuts also perfectly suit friendship themes and love. I haven’t had any tea parties recently but do however happen to have just got married so having a wedding album and thank you gifts to make was a perfect excuse to play with this stunning collection.

I’ve enjoyed every minute of making this album for my mother in law. I have decided not to give step by step instructions as I usually do because I think it is quite self explanatory I will however give you product lists for each page.

Front page: All the borders and the large flower element are from the 12x12 High Tea sticker sheet and the other flowers are from the collectibles die cut pack

All pages of this album are made from mount board which makes it nice and sturdy.

I have kept this album quite simple and most pages are simply the blue mount board forming the background colour, partly because I wanted the main focus to be the photographs and partly because the recipient of the gift has problems with her eyesight but you can experiment and be as adventurous as you like. I went for the simple and elegant option.

Here I have used; High Tea die cuts and a Basic Grey white 12x12 Doilie sheet which I have sliced up and used for borders throughout the album, it’s amazing how many borders I got just from one sheet!

I love this picture of my mum walking me down the isle.

Here I have used two pages from the 6x6 High Tea pad for my photo mounts, sentiments from the collectibles pad, Basic Gray doilie strips  and flowers and ribbon from my craft stock.

See list from previous page.

For this one I did a little die cutting for the photo frames but I foolishly discarded the packaging so I’m afraid I can’t name the dies. I cut in half some large paper flowers and made them peep out from behind the frames. Again we have die cuts from the collectibles pack and I also squeezed on some perfect pearls to give the page a little more elegance.

We have a bit of a mixture here. The page on the right is backed with a sheet of K & Company Blue Awning paper The ‘love’ flourish is a Basic Gray Two Scoops element sticker. The nautical elements are bits and bobs gathered during my nautical search in my craft room. The sentiments are from the High tea collectibles die cuts.

Photo Frames and Card

These photo frames are so easy to make with the High tea papers and collectibles die cuts, all the work is done for you.

Simply glue your chosen sheet of 6x6 paper onto mount board. When the glue is dry cut out the aperture for your photo. Glue a square of acetate to the back and then tape your photo to the back. Glue a second 6x6 square of mount board to the back then make and attach a stand.  Now have fun decorating your photo frame with the High Tea collectibles die cuts and anything else that takes your fancy!

This quick and easy thank you card is simply one sheet of 6x6 High Tea paper attached to a slightly larger card then decorated with a photo and stickers from the High Tea 12x12 sticker sheet.
