Materials

A selection of Kaisercraft Letters to Santa 12 x 12 papers

Kaisercraft Letters to Santa – Collectables

Kaisercraft Pearls

Ribbon or curling ribbon

Instructions

1.       To make the 3D Christmas tree, tear three green circles of green Kaisercraft paper, one big (about 11cm) one medium and one small. Ensure when tearing the circles to have the torn white edges showing on the green side of the paper. Stick them together with a glue stick as shown below.

2.       Cut the circle into quarters then score and fold over the two side edges of each tree and decorate with Kaisercraft pearls.

3.       Now you have your 3D tree shape you can create your tags. I cut my tag shapes on a die cutting machine but if you don’t have one of these you could use decorative scissors or even tear the tag shapes like you did with the tree. Embellish your tag with your choice of the vast collection of die cuts in the Kaisercraft collectables pack and, of course, your Christmas trees.

4.       Finish off with some ribbon and there you have it, quick and easy, unique gift tags in a flash!

Gift Box

Materials

Kaisercraft Letters to Santa 12 x 12 papers – Be Merry, Christmas Traditions and Carolers

Mount board or a ready made box

Ruffle Roses

Ribbon for tying

I made this box from scratch from mount board but any box of your choice could be used. I’m not going to give exhaustive instructions because it is simply a case of covering and lining a box with paper using PVA glue.

I sectioned my box because my husband (who is a pastry chef – lucky me!) is going to bake some lovely fancies to go inside. I have used scraps of left over paper to decorate the inside of each section in a patchwork style.

I have embellished the top of the box with one of the lovely sentiment frames from the ‘Be Merry’ sheet (I layered it on some mirri board for that silver edge) and I gave it a finishing touch with some white Ruffle Roses and some holly leaves which I snipped from a scrap of the carollers paper.

I hope I have inspired you to have a go.

Happy crafting!
