Never throw away your scraps!!! With a bit of preparation for the first card you can use your scraps to make this card in minutes time and time again!

The papers used here are from Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar

Cut a circle to your choice of size for your project – you could use a die cut, punch or compasses. I used a 4cm die cut.

To create a perfect square for your circle do the following:

Find the centre of your circle (diameter/2, so if your circle is 4cm in diameter the centre point is 2cm in from any point on the circle) then draw two lines through it as shown:

Draw four lines connecting all the points on the circle:

Voila, you have a perfect square (Note that I did this on the computer by eye so proportions may not be entirely accurate).

Now you should have a template. Keep it for when you need it again.

Now cut nine circles from your scraps of paper. Put your square template on each circle and draw around it as shown below, or simply fold edges over each side of the square.

Score and fold all lines.

Arrange on a plain card base, add a sentiment and you have an amazing card from scraps!

You could embellish the squares further if you wish, with buttons, brads, pearls, images, numbers - whatever you fancied, but they look perfect as they are. A super way to use bits of of paper you might otherwise just chuck in the bin.

We hope you enjoyed the class
