Halloween Cards

The "Wonderfully Wicked" collection by Bo Bunny is perfect for all your spooky projects. BUT who says spooky can't combine with cute? I have used two of our super cute Annie stamps here to create two "Wonderfully Wicked" cards:

In this first example I am using the sweet "Elegant Annie" stamp.  I coloured her in with Copic markers in colours that matched the papers I used and then cut her out.  One of the papers from the "Wonderfully Wicked" collection called "Dreadful" is a sheet full of old dusty, cobwebbed, book-filled, rat-infested shelves, and proved perfect to sit our little Annie on.  I used a "Wonderfully Wicked" noteworthy die-cut "Creepy" for the corner. The clock is a Kaisercraft collectable from the "Ooh LA LA" collection, but perfect for here. The "BOO" and the glittery bat are from the "Wonderfully Wicked" self-adhesive chipboard pack. I used orange web ribbon, and some black crystals to complete.

The card itself measures 6" x 6" and the Bo Bunny paper was cut slightly smaller to show the outline.

Annie and the bat were both mounted on foam pads.

The inside was decorated in the reverse side of the "Dreadful" paper, with a few library shelves at the bottom.

Card 2

The second card uses are delectable "Purrrfect Annie with Kitty" stamp. Again I coloured her with Copic markers and cut her out.

The card size is  6" x 6.5" and again I cut the Bo Bunny paper smaller to show the edge.

The paper this time is Bo Bunny Wonderfully Wicked "Apothecary".  I cut out one of the frames from the front of the paper and used the reverse side for the background paper as well as for the inside of the card. These papers are so incredibly versatile.

The poison bottle is another from the "Wonderfully Wicked" self-adhesive chipboard pack.

I used black web ribbon, and glittery purple Imaginisce "Hallowhimsy" brads as well as a glazed brad from "Hallowhimsy" for the flower.

The bat is a "Wonderfully Wicked" noteworthy die-cut, you could glitter the wings for a great effect if you wanted..

I love our little Annie stamp range, she is too cute!

As you can see on this picture I glossed the pumpkin in the picture frame with Glossy Accent. Glossy Accents are a great way to bring flat paper elements to life and provide an instant 3D effect.

Annie Card 3

I am using the Delectable Annie with Ted stamp  in conjunction with the beautiful "Ooh La La" collection from Kaisercraft.

The card size is 7" x 5.7". I used a heavyweight paper here as I was papering both the front and the inside. No need to purchase expensive plain cardstock where just some heavyweight premium paper will do. The finished card is a lovely weight.

This is such a simple card to make, because of the beautiful background paper I used, which is called  "Belle". This is a 12x12 sheet but you can use the smaller version from the 6.5"x6.5" pad if you would rather have a smaller design.  Check out the Kaisercraft paper pads because they provide lots of extra goodies, in the pads you will find borders, die-cuts, sentiments and specialised papers, along with the designs from the collection.  The die-cuts I used here are from the Ooh La La Collectable Pack.

I coloured my little Annie with Copic markers and sat her in a circle of Prima craft beads, or you can use caviar beads if our Prima craft beads are out of stock. Using Liquid Pearls a few dots were added around her. The circle is a Spellbinders die. A few pearls in one corner finished the front.

The inside of the card was decorated in the same paper, so one sheet did the entire card. The bottom of the card front and inside, is the reverse side of the paper. Butterfly from the Ooh La La Collectable Pack.

Annie Card 4

In this card I am used the "Sitting Pretty" Annie stamp. This is such a sweet image, I just love her little face.  This time I used the new Cafe Parisian collection by Graphic 45.  I used the paper "Petite Four" for the strip on the left and "Life is Sweet" for the background paper, both from Cafe Parisian. The chipboard "Enjoy the Little Things" is from the same collection and is a piece from the Decorative Chipboard Pack,. I threaded some fibre through the tag. The clock is from the Kaisercraft Ooh La La Collectable pack. A few pink pearls and crystals adorn the corner..

The card size here is 7" x 6"

I coloured Annie and the stool with Copic markers. The stool stamp is also part of the Delectable stamp range, although I used the digital version (not available for sale, only as a stamp) so it is bigger than the stamp.

I cut out a selection of the cakes from the "Petits Four" paper and mounted them on foam pads around Annie.

The frame is a Spellbinders die and the dots on the frame were made with Liquid Pearls "White Opal".  Just dot the Liquid Pearls all around on the frame and leave to dry. The smaller amount you use the flatter the "pearl" will be.

The inside was decorated with "Petits Four" and again I cut out some of the cakes and arranged around the middle:

Annie Card 5

This time I am using  "Irresistable Annie". I adore this stamp! It's my favourite. So good for so many occasions it's absolutely gorgeous. Drawn by our Lou and here coloured by me using Copic marker pens in colours to compliment the paper I used.

I used the beautiful Bella Rosa collection from Bo Bunny. The background paper is "Whisper". This is quite a big card so I used the 12" x 12" paper. If you want a smaller size use the 6x6 pad.

Card size is 8.5" x 5.6". I used a heavyweight white paper here as my base card. As you are adding paper to bother front and inside there is no need for expensive cardstock.

The "Whisper" paper has a beautiful design that eliminates the need for lots of layers and embellishments I think.

I took a piece of the Whisper paper and used the reverse side to cut a matting below the image using a Spellbinders Die. I threaded velvet ribbon through it top and bottom.

The rose on the image, the bird and the "Love you to the moon and Back" are all from the Kaisercraft Ooh La La Collectable pack.

Just a simple inside for now:, you can always decorate further if you so wish. Here the "Whisper"  (from same sheet, one sheet did it all), was separated from the main card by a piece of lace ribbon

The image is accentuated by a golden glittery frame made by using Flower Soft "Gold".

Annie Card 6

My final card uses the 6th Annie stamp is this Delectable collection: "Angel Annie" Perfect for Christmas cards for sure. Here I used the image with Kaisercraft's Christmas collection "Glisten" and Bo Bunny's "Merry & Bright" Christmas collection

. .

After colouring my Annie I cut her out and embellished her wings with white glitter.  The card size here is 6" x 6".

I cut a piece of Bo Bunny Merry & Bright paper "Peppermint" slightly smaller than the front of the card and inked edges with red Distress ink. I then cut out a strip from the same paper, again inked edges, the glued on the top horizontally.

I cut out of one of the sentiments from the Kaisercraft's Glisten "Incandescent" paper. You can see how lovely foiled this paper is here:

The sentiment is accentuated by a golden glittery frame made by using Flower Soft "Gold".

The corners are cut from a Sweet Dixie Die and decorated with Stickles and red pearls .

Annie was mounted on foam and stuck to the front of the card.

The inside was decorated to compliment the front:

A red pinsettia finished the card.
