Products used: K& Company Sea Glass Collection

Instructions

• Using a mixture of papers from the K&Co Sea Glass collection – I layered underneath and around the photo and stitched into place.

• I used paper with a seashell edge to make the scallop underneath the photo.

• The Journalling Card is taken from the Tag Pad, with the top cut off!

Embellishments used are:

• Lettering – Glitter Stickers

• Sentiments – Embossed Stickers

• Flowers and 3D Embellishments – Grand Adhesions

• I used white acrylic paint to create a wavy border around the photo and under the flower and shell embellishment under the journaling.

• Finished off with doodling.

The colours in this collection are divine and gorgeously soft, with the right balance of bold to really lift it off the page.

The Embossed Stickers are so easy to use and as I like to use a lot of ‘stuff’ in a layout I can slip these in between and dot them around really easily.

The Glitter Stickers are lovely and give the page a shimmer just right for a summer beach layout.

And the flowers – well what can I say…..they are bloomin’ gorgeous and I want more!!

Sandcastle Card

This is a card I have made which I will need to take on holiday with me as it’s a good friends birthday while we are away.  So a beach and sandcastle theme was just right.  This is an A5 size card, with paper pieced together in three sections to be sea, sand and sky.  The middle sand bit, and also the sandcastle is actually one of the backing cards from the Glitter Stickers/Grand Adhesions packs as its nice and creamy.  Seemed a shame to waste it!

Using the Adhesive Ribbon cover over the joins of the sections.  The sandcastle is die-cut and brown kraft paper is used for the castle roof.  Kraft paper is from an old office paper file!

Using the Grand Adhesions, Glitter Stickers and Embossed Stickers I embellished the card.  The glitter fish was stuck onto a scrap piece of the Sea Glass paper before adhering onto the card to give him a bit more colour and pattern.

Doodling finishes the card!  I’ve just got to remember to take it with me now, lol !

Mannequin - Hula

This one is just a bit of fun.  I have had this lady sitting naked on a shelf for far too long!  I was staring at the clam shell Grand Adhesions and had the idea to make them like a bikini top put together with a piece of ribbon.

The skirt is a strip of the Sea Glass paper cut into a long fringe and the belt is Adhesive Ribbon and the flower one of those gorgeous Grand Adhesions – all from the Sea Glass Collection.

At the Beach Notebook

Instructions

This is a 6x6 notebook I am planning to take with me on my hols this year.  I want to be able to doodle and add memories and reminders day by day, and the book will serve as a ready made reminder long after the holiday has finished!

The cover is decorated with the Embossed Stickers, Grand Adhesions and Adhesive Ribbon.  The beach huts are covered chipboard shapes.

I used the Bind It All (available at Charmed Cards!) to bind the notebook and tied ribbon round the spine.  I used the gorgeously thick and heavy Chipboard Stickers (which are covered in a thick plastic) to hang off the spine (the Cropodile made these holes – available in the shop!).

I used 6x6 acetate sheets to cover the front and back of the notebook.  Mainly because the cover is decorative and bulky, and it will help to protect it as I carry it around in my bag.  It all ties together with a long piece of ribbon……
